Your estimate is calculated in your browser.
Home size, coverage, fuel, distance, transfer-switch, site, state, and panel selections are processed in the browser to produce the estimate. Generator Budget does not currently provide user accounts or send those calculator inputs to an application database.
A shared estimate stores the selected values in the URL fragment after the # character. URL fragments are not included in ordinary HTTP requests to the server, but anyone who receives the complete shared link can read and restore those selections.
02 / Technical information
Hosting providers may process request logs.
When you request a page, hosting and delivery providers may process standard technical information such as IP address, user agent, requested path, timestamp, network diagnostics, and security events. That processing supports delivery, reliability, abuse prevention, and incident investigation and is subject to the provider's own terms and retention practices.
03 / Cookies, analytics, and advertising
No non-essential tracking is intentionally enabled.
Generator Budget does not currently run advertising, install non-essential analytics cookies, or use calculator inputs for behavioral advertising. Essential infrastructure may still use technical storage when required for security or delivery. This policy and any required consent controls will be updated before optional analytics or advertising is enabled.

Material changes to data collection will be reflected here before the related feature is enabled. For a current technical or policy correction, use the Contact page. Clicking its email link opens your device's email application; the site does not receive or store the message itself.
